This is the “middle” dog from yesterday’s post. I forgot to get a before pic, so this was after I washed him and had started clipping him wet. He was matted from head to toe. Normally I dry dogs before clipping, but I make exceptions with severely matted dogs. This one got another bath after I clipped him and then I blow dried and finished him:

After (blurry because he was running around):

Here is one of my RARE attempts at putting a bow in a dog’s hair:

This yorkie gets groomed more like a westie:

I could fill my day with twenty of these:

Ohh, awww…..!! I want one like that last pupster! He looks SO adorable!! Couldn’t you just mush his widdle self to pieces???? I LOVE that face!!!!
You did a great job on those dogs, darlin’. As per usual!!
<3
That was a cute puppy, huh? How could anyone not love that face?
That last one is just a wash and go huh?
LOVE that kind!
(I also file his nails and clean his ears.)
Oh gosh, the last pup is the most lovable beast. I’m so not a fan of bows on dogs.
I’m not a fan either! I only do it when specifically asked.
Whenever I see a dog with a bow, I always assume he’s going to be extra mean to make up for the humiliation.
Aw, I love that last dog and his wrinkly, sad face.
Ha ha… I know what you mean. And if they are named “Princess”, watch out!
I love all of these. I wish I could work around doggies. I love them so much. All of them. If I had my way, I would have 20 or 30 of them.
I might be getting a new one here pretty soon. A Havanese. Heard of those?
Yes, I groom a few. I think all but one whose owner says they are Havaneses are actually mixes. Their coat types are all very different, but they all come in with lots of mats in their hair. They are fairly high-maintanance dogs, but they are very pretty when they are taken care of, which I’m sure you would do!
I am in love with the last one! He looks like he needs a great big hug.
Good job on the grooming!
Thanks. Everyone seems to be in love with that pup!
Ah!! I’m such a sucker for squished nose puppies!
He’s a cutie, ain’t he?
Yay – I loooove doggies
LOL… Yay!
Bravo!
Encore!
You did a beautiful job with those dogs. And that last one, positively adorable.
Ha ha… thanks!
I love them all !!!!!
What a cool job you have !!!
It has its moments.
I have a 9 month old St. Bernard and she could use a bath! I think it’s a bit of a commute though! LOL!
I groomed one last week! She is HUGE and difficult. Very sweet, but not very cooperative.
Are the last ones easier or just sweeter to work with? I’m just curious as to why you said you could fill your day with them. I think you did a great job on all of them. They look so cute when they are all fluffed up and shiny!
That last dog was both easy and sweet. Short haired dogs are usually easy as far as grooming, but if they come to me instead of being groomed at home it is usually because they are difficult to handle. Not always, but often! Even if they are difficult though, they are usually a lot easier and faster than blow drying and clipping and styling a long-haired dog! And thanks!
