I made some more Christmas tree pins today. I decided to try mixing some pretty colors as an alternative to the bright red and green. These ones are actually more my style:

I am not sure I believe that you just started doing this. You are like a pro already. These are really, really, good!
Thanks, Teeni! These were pretty easy to make once I got the hang of it. I’m still working on sculpting the stuff. I’m glad you like them.
Me likey!!! You have great style AND talent!!!
Must be hereditary.
What do you make these out of Birdpress. Being a newbie at your site, I’m in the dark…
They are sooo cute!
Thanks! They are made from polymer clay (Sculpey brand.) I’m a newbie to polymer clay though. I just got some recently to experiment with, but I’m finding that it’s addictive! I used craft superglue to put pin backs on them and then painted them with glitter glaze to make them sparkly. I use the glitter glaze that just has a shimmer, not big pieces of glitter, which I don’t like. I think the shimmery stuff makes them look more festive and seals them nicely. Without it the clay has a matt finish.
Those are adorable! We don’t have a christmas tree this year we’re not home for christmas so it’s moot point) but next year I’m definitely doing it big! (I’ve had a change of heart this weekend.)
Im trying to find your email to email you but having no luck!
These are wonderful…do you have a flickr account so you could show them off in some of my groups? I have quite a lot of artisan support/show and tell groups…am a tad addicted to flickr!! We do have some rabid type polymer clay lovers there!!!
