I loved reading all your responses to my attic post! I thought I’d share with you this odd coincidence that (almost) put an end to my attic curiosity…
The other day, like the day after I posted the pictures, the fan in J’s bathroom stopped working. He thought he’d have to get into the attic to fix it, so, completely unprompted by me, he actually went up there!
He managed to get up there by climbing onto the stool, then onto the CAT TREE! Now, why didn’t I think of that? Anyway, he said that all that was up there was just a bunch of insulation, and he ended up fixing the fan through the bathroom anyway, so he didn’t even really need to get up there at all.
I do wonder, however, just WHY that fan stopped working when it did? I mean, we’ve lived here for almost three years and never had any reason to go up into the attic, and then suddenly… ???

I wonder if he would have been so quick to jump up there had he seen your attic pics post.
I almost showed him, but held back.

haha, it’s coming to getcha! seriously though, my imagination is such that i would *never* step foot into an attic unless it was after a skilled team of paranormal investigators had gone up with attractive pine and turned the whole thing into a well lit loft space. i’d have just gotten a three-speed fan for the bathroom counter and gone on some hippie rant about it being ‘natural’. gross, but no demons.
Well, I guess he’s lucky that he remains ignorant to the demons in the attic! He doesn’t believe in that paranormal stuff anyway, so honestly he probably wouldn’t have been scared even if I mentioned them.
Oh no, I’m not falling for this. I know you are setting me up for the next post. Perhaps some satanic looking pictures photo shop’d into the fan blades…
Oh, btw, had 2 (count ‘um, TWO) nightmares because of that post. I think I was traumatized and it might require therapy
You really scared the shit out of me. I love you anyway. Despite still being mad at you, I have to give you mad props for that being the most clever post yet, and it will be hard to top. I truly fell for that hook, line, and sinker. Plus, I did tell on you. I think you are going to get a spankn’ girl! You, so deserve it too!

LOL, I saw your comment, telling on me. I don’t think she’s read my blog since before that post. She didn’t mention it on the phone anyway.
I thought the same thing as JavaQueen. She’s setting us up again. If that’s not the case then this is all creepy and I would lock up that attic with many deadbolts. Though I guess deadbolts don’t stop ghosts. Do they?
