No poodle shows up in the meez here — just the girl petting the air. I wonder how that happened?

What? Really? I had changed the poodle but I also changed the meez. She should be swinging from a vine now. Doesn’t your computer show that one?

i dont have one because I cant adxd it to my blog I am so COMPUTER CHALLENGED

I just do searches and figure stuff out. I’m not so much computer savy as I am just plain old stubborn! If I want to do something I will figure it out if it takes all day!

Isn’t the poodle great? You can even make it whatever color you want. Sorry you have to deal with dial-up. I couldn’t handle that!

Ooh, can I? I’d love to make you a Meez. I’m not sure how to go about getting a password and all though since you need your email. You could subscribe and email me the password or something.

In wordpress, select the Settings Tab and then Discussion. There is a checkbox for Avatar Display – you get a few choices in how non-WPers ‘look’ if their avatars don’t come along, so to speak.

and I love the meez! I played with it awhile but it got too time consuming for me. AND I can’t figure out how to add shit to my sidebar. go figure.

For the meez, copy the code in “export meez” that says it’s for blogs. In WP, got into “design” then “widgets” then add a text widget and save it. They click “edit” on the text widget and just paste in the code. I also had to change the size of my meez on the meez site to make it smaller so she’d fit.

Yeah, you can choose what avatars go with people that don’t have one. Like blogspot bloggers etc. Mine is aliens.

Hmm – I don’t know if that meez looks like you because I’ve never seen you! But it IS cute and you know I like Meezes. Anyway, the poodle is perfect for your Meez. I think there may be other dogs in there as well.

I think the geometric design avatars that look like snowflakes are what WordPress fills in for you if you don’t have a custom avatar, if I am understanding what you are talking about correctly.

Ha! I just noticed your Blogroll on the side says Globroll! LOL. Did you do that on purpose? Too funny. I am obviously silly and overtired right now.

Glad you like my meez! I wish the poodle moved a little instead of looking like a statue though. Yeah, that is what I meant about the avatars, but I think you have to set it up to use them.

Yes, I’ve had it as Globroll for a while on purpose, but I don’t think anyone else noticed either! I did that because it’s what I always saw in my head when I saw Blogroll!

You know what i’ve been wondering about?
Those snowflake-like avatars. It seems like everyone has one. Where do those happen, i wonder? i don’t want one, i like my homemade one but yeah, i’m just curious.

I forget where I saw it, but there is some way you can fix it on your own blog so that the default avatars are these, I think if the person does not have one that comes up automatically. Not much help, I know, but it’s there if you search for it!
